On Joining BKSA, there is a section on the screen to select a club, here you will find a map and list of local clubs to join, and therefore which club gets a portion of the BKSA membership money. Select SWATK from the club finder, unfortunately if SWATK is not chosen from the club list your BKSA Membership to fly at Uphill and Brean will not be valid, as these are local club only beaches. Once you have received confirmation email of your membership you will need to email a copy of it toswatkuk@gmail.com(This is for our record of your current membership to the club). You can send a request to join the SWATK members group https://www.facebook.com/groups/941309659322729/?ref=bookmarks. (Once verified you will be given access to the group) Please note: It normally takes 7 -10 days from receipt of your payment. If after 21 days you have not received anything let us know by emailing info@britishkitesports.organd we will follow it up for you. Memberships do sometimes get lost in the post. North Somerset Council allows us to have a dedicated Windzone but does require that all users of this are members of either SWATK , Wind, Wheels & Waves, or the British Land Speedsail Association. This is to ensure that users have third party insurance. Our continued use of the Windzone and beach is dependent on us maintaining good relations and promoting safe kiting. If you are asked to present proof of membership and/or insurance then please politely comply– remember they're just doing their jobs.
